August 9, 2005 > Flying Fish participates in Junior Olympics

The Flying Fish swim team of Club Sports Fremont participated in the Pacific swimming Junior Olympics, hosted by the West Coast Aquatics in San Jose mid July.

The following swimmers placed in their events: In the medley relay the 10/Under Boys Garrett Chan, Alex Yaung, Justin and Dominic Rapp placed 5th in Medley Relay while 11/12 Girls Amy Lam, Jennifer Xu, Victoria Lee, Sasha Alcon placed 8th in the same event. The 10/Under Boys Daniel Lim, Eric Lam, Justin and Dominic Rapp placed 7th in the Freestyle Relay. In the individual events Victoria Lee placed 3rd in the 50 and 100 yards Fly and she was also selected to the Western Zone All Star Team which will compete in Utah in mid August. Justin Ho placed 8th in the 50 back.

The Flying Fish swimmers who qualified to participate in the Far Western Championship meet are Alex Yuang, Justin and Dominic Rapp, Rohan Patnaik, Victoria Lee, Justin Ho, Daniel Lim, Dennis Woo, and Jennifer Xu.
