Fremont icon Scenario Game & Hobby Shoppe says 'Goodbye'
The past few months have been a whirlwind of activity for local businessman, Chuck Wofford. As owner of Scenario Game & Hobby Shoppe, a popular and successful store serving the Tri-Cities for the past 26 years, he says it is a "bittersweet" time. The transformation of Scenario's location as part of the Centerville Unified Site into a new development created substantial challenges for the continuation of Scenario Game & Hobby Shoppe while his recent marriage to Sandy Wong, an experienced local residential real estate agent, opened significant opportunities for personal growth.
Chuck made a painful decision against relocating the store while the site is prepared for construction and the Centerville Market Place is built. Although saddened at the closure of Scenario Game & Hobby Shoppe, he views this change as a growth and evolution process since he plans to continue the Scenario name and join Sandy as a partner in the Scenario Realty Team at Keller-Williams Benchmark Properties. "I am so grateful to my loyal customers for their support and hope to continue our relationship," said Chuck. Doris and Leo, Chuck's parents, have shared management responsibilities for the shop and plan to help oversee its closure.
A "Going Out of Business" sale is in progress at Scenario and will continue until all merchandise and fixtures are gone. Over the July 4th holiday weekend, prices will be at 40% discount and greater. In addition to game and hobby merchandise, buyers can bid on fixtures, phone systems, security cameras and more - everything must go! Come by to wish Chuck well in his new enterprise, say goodbye to a Tri-City icon and...get great bargains.
