We are looking for volunteers who are reliable, optimistic, willing to learn new skills, meet new people and who have a strong desire to help.

Kaiser Permanente has provided health care services to California for nearly 60 years. Our volunteers are an important part of our team that continues to carry on our legacy of compassion and service.

Volunteering is important work. You can make a real difference in the lives of individuals and your community. Our members and staff count on volunteers to help improve the quality of service we provide. Many volunteers feel their own lives are enhanced by being of service.

How much time does it take?

You will be asked to make a commitment of at least four hours a week. Hours may vary, depending upon the time you have to give and the available openings in the volunteer schedule. Our current openings are during the day, during the week.

After the application is received and reviewed you will then complete an interview, pass a background check, obtain a required health screening provided by Kaiser Permanente, attend a volunteer orientation and complete on-the-job training with an experienced volunteer.
