May 31, 2005 > IndoABC raises $30, 202 for charity

On Friday, May 20, 2005, the Fremont/Newark Hilton came to life for the Second Annual Indo-American Charity Ball. The event, inspired by local volunteers who make up Indo-Americans for Better Community (IndoABC, a 501 (c) (3) tax exempt, charitable organization), was a showcase of both Indian and American culture, and an initiative to raise money for two local charities - the Tri-City Homeless Coalitions and LIFE Eldercare..

IndoABC's efforts raised $25,101 for Tri-City Homeless Coalition's BridgeWay East housing complex and Project Independence. An impressive $5,101 was raised for LIFE Eldercare's Meals on Wheels program.
