Centerville Farmers' Market is backby Diane Phillips
In celebration of the re-opening of the Farmers' Market, local certified producers will bring the best of their early summer harvest fresh from the farm to Centerville. Specialties of the season will include tree ripened cherries from Brentwood, super sweet strawberries from Watsonville, Asian vegetables, fresh-cut flowers, organic produce, fresh baked goods, specialty foods and fun for the family. Entertainment throughout the summer includes: East Bay Stompers, Johnny Reyes, Rob Robinson and Jimbo Trout. The Centerville Farmers' Market is operated by the Marin County Farmers' Market Association, an organization that holds Farmers' Markets in San Rafael, Novato, Oakland, Fairfax and Hayward. Each market is a Certified Farmers' Market which is a location approved by the County Agricultural Commissioner, where California Certified Farmers offer for sale only those agricultural items they grow themselves.
