Forever Plaid
Based on Stuart Ross' book, Forever Plaid, the musical with arrangements by James Raitt will run at the Broadway West Theatre from May 6 through June 4.
Directed by Robert Casillas and staring Mark Drumm, Joey Montes, John Prigeon and Danny Broome, this musical revue of the 60's is one of the most popular and successful shows in recent memory. The story follows Jinx, Smudge, Frankie and Sparkie - four young and eager male singers - who are on their way to a major gig when killed in a car crash. Miraculously, they are given a posthumous opportunity to fulfill their dreams and perform the show that never was.
Filled with a mixture of sweetness, nostalgia and really great music from the 60's, this revue has been charming audiences for over a decade. Great harmonies including: Three Coins in a Fountain, Love Is a Many Splendored Thing, Sixteen Tons, Cry, Chain Gang, Catch A Falling Star, Shangi-La and Moments To Remember are guaranteed to stir up some great memories of those days.
Forever Plaid May 6- June 4 Thursdays - Saturdays: 8 p.m. Matinees on Sundays: 1 p.m.
