April 19, 2005 > Fremont 50th team meeting for business and neighborhood leaders

Members of the business community and neighborhoods have begun the preliminary preparations throughout the City for community wide celebrations of Fremont's 50th Anniversary.

The community-wide celebration entitled Celebrate Fremont at the Park will take place on September 9-10, 2006 in Central Park. Celebrate Fremont at the Park is our opportunity to celebrate our past and unite our diverse community and historic districts with a shared vision for the future. This very important community event will strengthen relationships, build pride in our City, celebrate our achievements and show our neighbors the many things there are to love in Fremont. This celebration is not intended to take the place of any other events that are celebrated within our community, but is a community and collaborative effort for our 50th anniversary.

The Business and Neighborhood Team has scheduled a meeting on Monday, April 25th at 6:00 p.m. at the Fremont Chamber of Commerce office located at 39488 Stevenson Place, Ste. 100. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss Celebrate Fremont at the Park and ensure that the business associations and neighborhood groups are included in the planning and implementation of the activities.
