FUSD Superintendent John Rieckewald has scheduled community meetings April 18 and May 23 for community members to speak to him directly about questions, ideas or concerns they have about schools. Rieckewald conducts similar meetings every month throughout the school year, usually on the third Monday of the month from 10 a.m. to 11:15 a.m.

Each meeting focuses on issues in a specific high school attendance area, but participants are welcome to discuss any education topic of general concern to Fremont students, parents or schools. Questions related to specific staff or students should be addressed in another setting.

The remaining two meetings for this school year will be in the board room of the FUSD Education Center, 4210 Technology Drive. The April meeting will focus on the American High School attendance area and the May meeting will be devoted primarily to issues in the Irvington High School attendance area.
