Carlos Avalon knew at the age of eight that he was destined for the musical world. In 1966, at the age of nine, his family migrated from their native Horta, Faial to the United States where, two years later, they formed a band - Azores 68.
Avalon has been a regular at nightclubs and piano-bars where his talents are regarded by some as the best in the business. For the past three years, he has been performing at the Castlewood Country Club in Pleasanton.
