GetTextbooks.com expands price comparison engine to include over 80 bookstores

by Jeremy Jung

GetTextbooks.com, one of the web's most streamlined textbook comparison shopping tools, has raised the bar by increasing the number of bookstores searched in real time, while simultaneously reducing search times. Over 80 online textbook retailers, both new and used, can now be searched in real time ensuring prices are always accurate, never more than a few minutes old.

"Students have enough on their mind in college without having to worry about being able to afford the textbooks they need to succeed," said Jeremy Jung, recent college graduate and founder of GetTextbooks.com. "Take it from someone who once went as far as to drop a class to avoid paying for another high priced textbook ..."

In what has historically been a closed market, GetTextbooks.com provides a viable alternative to campus bookstores, enabling students to quickly gain access to prices of dozens of bookstores carrying their textbooks nationwide. Now with even more stores at their fingertips, students have been given the true power of choice.

About GetTextbooks.com Originally founded in December 2003 by Jeremy Jung as a service for his friends and fellow students at the University of California San Diego, GetTextbooks.com has since grown to serve as many as 100,000 textbook searches a week.
