ONE CHILD TO RECEIVE GIFTS OF LOVby Shirley Sisk
The League of Volunteers' bingo players have been busy collecting back to school supplies for One Child, the Fremont nonprofit group which helps distribute school supplies and clothing for children in need, one child at a time.
During bingo, 7 p.m. on Monday, August 30th, at the LOV Community Service Center, Bernice Dutra, founder of One Child, will be presented with stacks of backpacks, binders, school paper, pens, pencils, note books and much more.
This has been a fun project for LOV_s bingo players and LOV is very happy to help support such a worthy organization. |
