American Red Cross Blood Services is holding a volunteer orientation on Tuesday, September 7th from 9:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at its office 6230 Claremont Ave., Oakland. Volunteers are needed to call previous donors, offer refreshments, make deliveries to hospitals and assist with community outreach. Volunteer opportunities exist in Fremont, Newark, Union City and throughout Alameda county. Advance sign-up needed 594-5165. |
