Music at the Grove Series Begins July 4th
The 18th Season of the popular Music at the Grove series of FREE musical entertainment will begin on Sunday, July 4th with "The Hitmen" dance and party band featuring the megahits of the dance fever era of the '70's and '80's with a bit of '90's and 2000's.
This year's schedule includes:
- July 4th: The Hitmen ('70's, '80's with some '90's & 2000's)
- July 18th: Big Band Beat (Modern Rock and Motown)
- August 1st: Rod Piazza & The Mighty Flyers (West Coast Blues)
- August 15th: Mark Russo & The Classic Cats (Big band sounds of the '40's & '50's)
- August 29th: The Diamonds (Little Darlin', The Stroll, Why Do Fools Fall In Love)
All concerts are free and held on-the-green Sunday afternoons at 1:30 p.m. at Shirley Sisk Grove near NewPark Mall. Plenty of free parking. Call (510) 742-4400 for information. |
