Estate Planning Workshop
It doesn't matter if your estate is large or small. Learn how to protect the assets you've worked so hard to acquire and make sure your loved ones receive the maximum from your estate. A free estate planning workshop, hosted by the Fremont Library is scheduled for Tuesday evening, May 11, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. Two experts in the field, Wendy Wayne, an attorney and Holly Ito, a certified public accountant with extensive knowledge on taxation, will offer an informal presentation on the legal and financial considerations of estate planning. A variety of topics will be discussed including; the difference between wills and trusts, charitable and other gifting, as well as ways to avoid or reduce estate taxes.
This free program is made possible with the financial support of the Alameda County Library Foundation. Reservations are requested to ensure adequate materials and may be made by calling (510) 745-1401. For married couples, it is advised that both spouses attend the workshop.
The library is wheelchair accessible and an ASL interpreter for this event will be provided with at least 7 day's working notice.
