SMITH CENTER PRESENTS! PLACES
Ohlone College's Annual Spring Dance Production - dancing through a variety of "Places" faculty and students will dazzle the audience with a mix of styles, showcasing original choreography, from hip-hop to jazz, tap to modern dance.
The show consists of three suites, The Mind Altar, The Underground, and The Fantasy Cabaret. All styles of dance, from jazz to tap, hip-hop to modern dance will be performed. Approximately 100 students will perform pieces choreographed by Ohlone dance faculty and a select group ofstudents.
Students will perform in the Jackson Theatre, located in the Gary Soren Smith Center for the Fine and Performing Arts at Ohlone College, 43600 Mission Blvd., Fremont.
The Gary Soren Smith Center for the Fine and Performing Arts is the largest professional performing arts venue in Fremont and is easily accessible to the East and South Bay, including the Tri-Valley area from Hwy. 880 and 680. Each year, "Smith Center Presents!" features a season of professional artist performances offering a variety of live entertainment ranging from dance, comedy, music and theatre to appeal to every appetite for the arts.
