The Kiwanis Club of Fremont will award two - $500 Community Service Scholarships to graduating seniors who are residents of Fremont, Newark or Union City. Eligible applicants must have performed a minimum of 40 hours of service to the community in their Junior and/or Senior years- over and above any mandatory requirement for graduation. Volunteer service must be verifiable. A 3.0 GPA or better is required, along with a brief essay about the applicant, their goals and volunteer service.
Deadline for receiving applications is May 2, 2004.
