3rd Annual Ohlone College Film, Video, and Multimedia Festival
The 2004 3rd Annual Film, Video, and Multimedia Festival will be held Saturday, February 7th at Ohlone College in Fremont. Creative works to be showcased include movie trailers, animators, music videos, documentaries, commercials, public service announcements and other variaties of films.
"This year we've had two times the entries of last year and it's all great stuff," said Jackie Nguyen, who is coordinating the event this year along with Gary Kauf, TV instructor at Ohlone.
The Ohlone College Film, Video and Multimedia Festival began in 2002 to provide a forum for students and independent filmmakers in the Bay Area to get their works viewed. Advances in technology have made low priced, yet high-quality video equipment accessible to a whole new generation of young and tremendously creative filmmakers. The Festival encourages and facilitates their learning and development by exhibiting the best of their work. The event allows this generation of inspired thinkers to continue to improve their skills and strive towards their passions in filmmaking.
The 3rd Annual Film, Video, and Multimedia Festival will be held Saturday, February 7th at the Gary Soren Smith Center for the Fine and Performing Arts at the Ohlone College campus in Fremont.
