Fremont Seeks Participants for Citizen Police Academy
Are you interested in taking the Fremont Police Department's Citizen's Police Academy? The Citizen's Academy provides people who live or work in Fremont the opportunity to learn more about the inner-workings of the Police Department and the chance to meet some of the employees who serve the City of Fremont.
The Fremont Police Department is looking for participants to join the 18th Citizen's Police Academy. The academy is a 44-hour course designed to give citizens a working knowledge of their Police Department. Academy classes meet once a week on Thursday evenings from 7 p.m. - 10 p.m. at the Fremont Police Department with one Saturday class at the Police Shooting Range. The academy is a 13-week course and is tentatively scheduled to start on January 29, 2004.
If you or somebody you know is interested in joining the academy, please contact Lt. Tom Mikkelsen at 790-6982 or Tmikkelsen@ci.fremont.ca.us |
