Teens: Learn to Write PoetrySaturdays, 1 - 2:30 p.m., January 10 through February 7
Teen poets are invited to explore their poetry skills at the Newark Library during five Saturday workshops beginning January 10th and ending February 7th. The workshops are in the afternoon 1 to 2:30 p.m. Students in junior high and high school are invited to attend. Mara Sheade, published poet and teacher, will work with students on finding inspiration, expressing ideas and feelings and how to edit your work. An anthology of student writings will be created at the conclusion of the workshop series. Space is limited. Please call the Newark Library to register (795-2627 x 11). Philanthropic Ventures Foundation is sponsoring these programs.
